Good Samaritan Catholic College in Bli Bli (Sunshine Coast) seeks a Secondary Teacher specialising Technologies, ITD and ICT to join our BCE school community in 2027. The role includes teaching ITD across ITD and ICT/Robotics/Engineering where possible, and contributing to curriculum delivery.

About the opportunity
We are seeking a Secondary Teacher specialising Technologies, ITD (Information Technology and Design) and ICT (Information and Communication Technology).

The ability to teach across ITD is essential, and an ability to teach ICT/Robotics/Engineering is highly desirable.

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
• Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community
• Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture
• Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes
• Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development
• Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
