Job summary

Hume Doors & Timber (Qld) Pty Ltd is seeking a Process Worker for our Kingston Branch. The role runs on a day shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team and ensure quality woodworking and finishing standards are met. Ideal applicants will have hands-on experience with power tools, the ability to read measurements, and a strong focus on safety and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with power tools.
• Ability to read and understand measurements and material cutting requirements.
• Ability to understand and meet deadlines.
• Team player but able to work efficiently without supervision when required.
• High regard for OH&S and work quality.
• Willingness to learn.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Glazing or glass experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools and hand tools on the assembly line.
• Read and interpret measurements and cutting requirements from drawings and lists.
• Work to production deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members; maintain clean, safe work area.
• Adhere to OH&S policies and procedures.
• Be proactive in learning new skills and processes.
