Sunshine Frame & Truss is seeking an experienced Timber Frame & Truss Detailer/Estimator in Queensland. The role focuses on producing detailed frame and truss designs, coordinating with production, and ensuring projects meet high standards and timelines.

You will work closely with production teams, apply practical design solutions, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and Queensland requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in timber frame and truss estimating and detailing.
• Strong understanding of current Standards and Codes in Queensland timber-framed construction.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed drawings and documentation for production.
• Ensuring designs align with production requirements and capacity.
• Communicating with internal teams to support smooth workflow.
• Applying accurate, practical and cost-effective design solutions.
• Maintaining compliance with Australian Standards and Queensland building requirements.
