Job summary

St Agnes Catholic High School, Rooty Hill, NSW, is seeking a skilled Industrial Technology Teacher specialising in Timber and Construction to join our welcoming school community in a permanent full-time role commencing 27 January 2027.

You will plan and deliver contemporary lessons, create practical experiences, maintain a safe workshop, and collaborate with the TAS faculty to inspire students' creativity and industry-ready skills.

Qualifications

• Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation – Working with Children Check clearance.
• Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
• Statements of Service.
• Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Industrial Technology, Timber and Construction.
• Create practical learning experiences that develop students' technical skills, creativity and confidence.
• Maintain a safe, organised workshop environment.
• Apply appropriate work health and safety practices across practical activities.
• Use assessment data to support student progress and achievement.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs of students.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with the TAS faculty and broader school community.
• Contribute to the Catholic life, culture and co-curricular activities of the school.
