Job summary

Harco Tiling Pty Ltd is seeking a Tiling Foreman to lead on-site tiling operations across residential and commercial projects in Sydney. You will supervise tilers, subcontractors, and labourers, coordinate daily works, read drawings, and ensure work aligns with the construction program.

The role requires strong leadership, reliable communication, and the ability to manage teams while maintaining quality and safety on site. A White Card and valid Australian driver’s licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial and/or residential tiling.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Holds a White Card and a current Australian driver’s licence.

• Supervising tilers, subcontractors and labourers on site.
• Coordinating daily works and allocating labour.
• Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications and tile layouts.
• Setting out tiling works and checking dimensions and levels.
• Coordinating materials, deliveries and site requirements.
• Monitoring productivity and ensuring works remain on program.
• Carrying out quality inspections and managing defects.
• Ensuring waterproofing and tiling works comply with project requirements and Australian Standards.
• Coordinating with builders, site managers and other trades.
• Ensuring WHS requirements and site procedures are followed.

Job description

As Tiling Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of tiling works on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, to a high standard and in accordance with the construction program.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising tilers, subcontractors and labourers on site
• Coordinating daily works and allocating labour
• Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications and tile layouts
• Setting out tiling works and checking dimensions and levels
• Coordinating materials, deliveries and site requirements
• Monitoring productivity and ensuring works remain on program
• Carrying out quality inspections and managing defects
• Ensuring waterproofing and tiling works comply with project requirements and relevant Australian Standards
• Coordinating with builders, site managers and other trades
• Ensuring WHS requirements and site procedures are followed

About you

• Has strong experience in commercial and/or residential tiling
• Has previous experience as a Foreman, Supervisor or Leading Hand
• Has excellent knowledge of tiling installation, set-out, waterproofing and finishing
• Can read construction drawings and specifications confidently
• Has strong leadership and communication skills
• Can manage teams and subcontractors effectively
• Is organised and capable of working to construction programs and deadlines
• Has a strong eye for quality and attention to detail
• Holds a valid White Card
• Holds a current Australian driver's licence
