Job summary

Our client, a leading Stainless Steel Fabricator located in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their team. The role involves manufacturing refrigerated display units, display cabinets, supermarket showcases, deli counters, butcher displays and other refrigeration equipment.

You will interpret technical drawings, operate sheet metal machinery, and ensure finished products meet quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

Experience in stainless steel fabrication.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Proficiency with welding techniques and sheet metal fabrication.
Experience with refrigeration cabinet construction is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal components.
Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotines, press brakes, rollers, punches etc.
Work with stainless steel; TIG welding.
Read drawings and use precision measuring tools.
Ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
