Job summary

Worthwhile Recruitment is seeking TIG Welders to join a busy Penrith manufacturing team. The role suits candidates with TIG welding experience who want to develop further in a supportive environment.

Training will be provided to the right person, and prior experience with stainless steel sheet metal or fabrication is highly regarded. You will work day shift on casual hourly pay with super and OT, and there is a temp-to-perm pathway.

Qualifications

• TIG welding experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is highly regarded.
• Willingness to learn and develop welding skills in a supportive environment.
• Strong attention to quality workmanship and detail.
• Experience with stainless steel / fabrication is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welds using TIG processes to defined specs.
• Reads and interprets technical drawings for production work.
• Works both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Participates in on-the-job training and skill development.

Job description

We are currently seeking TIG Welders to join a busy manufacturing team based in Penrith.

This role is ideal for candidates with TIG welding experience who are looking to further develop their skills in a supportive manufacturing environment. We are open to candidates with basic to intermediate TIG welding skills, as full training will be provided for the right person. Experience working with stainless steel sheet metal, food and beverage equipment, automotive exhausts, custom hot rods, or similar fabrication work will be highly regarded.

To be successful, you will have:

• TIG welding experience
• A willingness to learn and develop your welding skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with stainless steel, sheet metal, or fabrication equipment is advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is highly regarded

• Day Shift: Monday to Thursday | 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Casual hourly pay: $45 - $48 (depending on experience)+ Super + OT
• Afternoon shift available once skills are proven
