Job summary

TPG Telecom is seeking a Red Team Specialist to emulate threat actors and drive improvements in security posture across 5G networks, eCommerce, and warehouse systems. You will plan red teaming exercises, automate attack techniques, and produce actionable reports for cross‑functional teams.

The role requires hands-on scripting (Python/Go/Ruby), Linux proficiency, and a strong attacker mindset, with collaboration across IR and Infrastructure Security to enhance detections and defenses.

Qualifications

• Experience in Red Team or related cybersecurity roles.
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK with threat intel usage.
• Scripting in Python/Go/Ruby to automate tasks.
• Linux/Unix command-line proficiency and cloud familiarity.
• Understanding of telecom systems, RF concepts, 4G/5G is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead red teaming operations to emulate real threats specific to telco.
• Automate attack techniques and develop custom tooling.
• Write detailed reports with observations and recommendations.
• Collaborate with IR and Infrastructure Security to improve detections.
• Assist non-technical teams with policy and process improvements.
