Job summary

Synechron is seeking a skilled Penetration Tester to identify, exploit, and help remediate security vulnerabilities across applications, networks, systems, cloud environments, and infrastructure. You will conduct authorized security assessments, simulate real-world attacks, produce detailed reports, and collaborate with development, IT, and security teams to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

• 5+ years of experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, ethical hacking, or application security.
• Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities and attack techniques.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and red-team activities.
• Assess web apps, APIs, mobile apps, networks, cloud environments, and internal infrastructure.
• Identify and safely exploit vulnerabilities using manual techniques and industry-standard tools.
• Document vulnerabilities, business impact, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations.
• Prepare clear technical and executive-level penetration testing reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and security teams to support remediation.
• Stay current with emerging threats and security research.
