Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Thermal Customer Engineer (Technician) to perform maintenance servicing of Vertiv equipment, including after-hours work and commissioning, as directed by the Service Operations Manager and Thermal Supervisor.

You will plan visits, report hours, and complete service reports, while maintaining professional relationships with customers and staying current with Vertiv technologies. Travel to remote sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Certificate required (state dependant).
• Restricted Electrical Licence required.
• Refrigerant Handling Licence required.
• Technical knowledge - data centres, telecom, commercial or industrial environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Plan customer service maintenance visits in a structured, methodical manner.
• Carry out commissioning, service maintenance and after-hours service commitments.
• Maintain relationships with customers with professional interactions and feedback to Vertiv team.
• Keep up to date with training across multiple Vertiv technologies.
• Maintain company vehicle and personal appearance to standard.
• Record spare parts usage and inventory.
