Job description

Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is a family-owned aged care provider operating 41 residential aged care homes, with in-home and community care programs in WA and NSW. We are currently seeking a compassionate Therapy Assistant (known internally as Personal Care Worker - Therapy) to join our team at Clarence Estate in Albany on a part-time or casual basis.

About the role

Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will work closely with our residents to improve their quality of life by undertaking group and individual interventions as per their individualised care plans.

You will possess highly developed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills, a demonstrated ability to work effectively in an inter-disciplinary team and make meaningful connections with our residents and their families.

What you’ll need to succeed

Before you can be considered for this role, we’ll need to make sure you possess the following:

  • Cert III in Allied Health Assistance (or similar)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • evidence of Influenza vaccination, and
  • full working rights in Australia.
