A leading aged care provider in Albany is seeking a compassionate Therapy Assistant to join their team. The role involves working closely with residents to improve their quality of life through individual and group interventions. Candidates must have a Cert III in Allied Health Assistance, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and evidence of vaccination. We are currently seeking a compassionate Therapy Assistant (known internally as Personal Care Worker - Therapy) to join our team at Clarence Estate in Albany on a part-time or casual basis.
Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will work closely with our residents to improve their quality of life by undertaking group and individual interventions as per their individualised care plans.
You will possess highly developed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills, a demonstrated ability to work effectively in an inter-disciplinary team and make meaningful connections with our residents and their families.
