Job summary

The role emphasises strengths-based practice, trauma-informed care, and ensuring participants have choice, dignity and self-determination in all daily activities.

Qualifications

• Understanding person-centred and strengths-based practice.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable insured vehicle.
• Working With Children/Vulnerable Persons Check (WWCC).

Responsibilities

• Support participants to build independence and daily living skills.
• Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies as part of a therapeutic model.
• Promote choice, control and self-determination.
• Facilitate community participation and social connection.
• Support participants to achieve individual goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
