Dhelkaya Health in regional Victoria is seeking a dedicated Theatre Technician to support our surgical services. You will prepare operating rooms, manage sterile supplies, and assist nursing staff in patient care and transfers.

Working in a fast-paced hospital environment, you’ll ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficient workflow while upholding confidentiality and compliance with policies. Ongoing education and teamwork are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating theatres or surgical support is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment.
• Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff and leaders with patient care and transfers.
• Prepare Operating Rooms for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the Operating Suite and manage waste.
• Support setup, maintenance and care of surgical equipment and consumables.
