Job summary

Theatre RN role based at Mareeba Hospital covers a combined Maternity and Paediatric Ward with links to general surgery and endoscopy. You will be responsible for perioperative care and patient flow across multiple theatre settings.

Applicants must be registered with AHPRA and hold Australian work rights. Travel and accommodation are provided, with a 6-week contract starting 19 October and potential for extension.

Qualifications

• TheatreRN with current AHPRA registration and Australian work rights.
• Experience with ieMR and SurgiNet is required.
• Experience Scrub/Scout or in Anaesthetics/PACU is preferred.
• Maternity and Paediatric theatre knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide theatre nursing across general surgery, endoscopy and obstetrics.
• Be prepared to work on an adult medical ward when required.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster for obstetric emergencies.
