Job summary

The Operations Assistant role at Southern NSW Local Health District supports clinical teams and helps run surgical services at Eurobodalla Regional Hospital. The role includes assisting in theatres, wards, cleaning and portering to move patients and equipment efficiently.

Starting March 2027 as Permanent Full Time, you will work a 38-hour week in a fast-paced environment, upholding NSW Health safety and patient-centered care standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in one or more areas of this role - working with people in a care setting.
• Good communication skills - written and verbal.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and take directions from staff.

Responsibilities

• The Operations Assistant supports the clinical team, primarily in the operating theatres, to promote the smooth running of surgical services.
• It provides assistance throughout the health service, including general duties in wards, cleaning and portering for patient transfers or equipment.
