SASH (Small Animal Specialist Hospital) in Western Sydney is seeking an experienced Theatre Nurse to support Surgery and Ophthalmology teams, with Anaesthesia, Radiology, ECC and Internal Medicine colleagues. This full-time role is four days per week with a shared rotational on-call roster covering weekends and public holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Specialist/Referral clinic or with a focus on surgical nursing.
• Strong interest in Surgery, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesia & specialty nursing.
• Excellent time management, communication, and the ability to prioritise with confidence.
• Experience in general anaesthesia.

Aufgaben

• Assisting with specialist consultations, diagnostics, procedures, and surgeries.
• Performing ophthalmic testing and assisting with advanced surgical nursing.
• Providing anaesthetic monitoring including ventilation and neuromuscular blockade (training provided).
• General nursing duties including blood collection, catheter placement, and patient care.
• Coordinating records, managing workflow, and communicating with clients.
• Collaborating daily with Anaesthesia, Radiology, ECC, Internal Medicine, and more.
• Work alongside our Western Sydney Surgery Team and Ophthalmology Specialist.
