Qualifications

Leveraging your State Government experience, Jira expertise, test script development skills, and strong traceability knowledge, you'll help drive quality outcomes across a complex enterprise environment.

Initial contract of 4+ months with potential extension opportunities.

Your new role We are seeking an experienced Test Coordinator to join a major government program based in Adelaide CBD. This role will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end testing activities across a large and complex project environment, ensuring quality outcomes through effective test planning, execution, traceability, and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, project managers, technical teams, and vendors to support the delivery of critical system integrations and business transformation initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working within SA Health or, at a minimum, a State Government environment.
• Strong hands-on experience using Jira for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Exposure to Zephyr (highly desirable).
• Demonstrated experience in test case and test script development.
• Proven experience establishing and managing requirements-to-test traceability.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Highly Desirable Experience

• Experience working on large-scale, complex government projects involving significant system integrations.
• Previous project exposure within agencies such as: SA Health / Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), South Australia Police (SAPOL), Department for Correctional Services / Department for Justice and Community Safety, Other large State Government transformation programs.
• Experience coordinating SIT, UAT, and integration testing across multiple vendors and technology platforms.
