Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking an experienced testing lead to govern and deliver testing across complex systems and environments. You will coordinate functional, system, integration, performance and security testing, aligning with delivery teams and governance forums.

You will develop strategies, plans and reporting frameworks, manage defects and environments, and drive both manual and automated testing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing testing across complex technology, engineering or transformation programs.
• Capability in test strategy, planning, estimation, execution oversight and reporting.
• Knowledge of functional, integration, system and acceptance testing approaches.
• Experience managing defects, traceability, test environments, data and release dependencies.
• Ability to lead test teams and coordinate vendors, engineers and business representatives.
• Ability to communicate quality risks and readiness recommendations to governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Develop the test strategy, master test plan, schedules, entry and exit criteria, and reporting framework.
• Coordinate functional, system, integration, performance, security and user acceptance testing across delivery teams.
• Manage defects, test risks, environment constraints and dependencies, ensuring issues are clearly prioritised and escalated.
• Provide evidence-based reporting on test progress, coverage, quality and release readiness.
• Develop capabilities for both procedural and automated testing.
