Job summary

A leading technology firm located in Canberra is seeking a Test Analyst to manage risks and improve testing efficiency. Candidates should have proficiency in Python, Linux, and automated testing practices. Ideal for individuals with DevOps experience and a strong grasp of Agile methodologies. Qualifications

• Experience with Python Software Development is essential.
• Familiarity with Linux Operating Systems is required.

Job description

Overview

• Work closely with Project managers and Delivery leads to manage risks and issues related to testing activities
• Assisting the business area in prioritising and maintaining backlog
• Identify opportunities for test automation to enhance efficiency, coverage and accuracy of testing activities
• Maintaining relevant metrics to monitor, control, manage and report progress and forecasts while managing risks, issues, dependencies and change requests
• Receives and passes on technical information to the project stakeholders about development progress and status

Job Requirements

• The Test Analyst should ideally have experience and/or knowledge of:
• Python Software Development
• Linux Operating Systems
• Ansible or equivalent “infrastructure as code” technologies
• Automated Testing processes
• DevOps Automation Practices
• Continuous Integration Systems
• Continuous Delivery Systems
• Agile methodologies
• IP Protocols
