Job summary

The ItsMy Group is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to uphold quality across web applications, automate regressions, and integrate tests with CI/CD in an Agile Kanban environment.

You will design and maintain automated test frameworks, collaborate with manual testers, and ensure coverage of critical workflows, while contributing to monitoring and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in QA as a test engineer.
• Tertiary qualification in computer science, IT and systems, relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Proficiency in test automation libraries such as Puppeteer and Playwright.
• Software Load testing Experience (Locust, Jmeter, etc).
• Experience testing web applications with complex business rules.
• Exposure to manual testing and UAT support.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of health insurance or financial services platforms (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications in accordance with the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
• Create and execute automated test scripts for regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Work with the manual testing team to identify test cases suitable for automation.
• Facilitate manual testing of web applications where required to ensure the quality, reliability and performance aspects of software applications.
• Ensure coverage across critical workflows.
• Implement comprehensive application monitoring and testing to proactively identify and alert the engineering team to potential bugs and issues.
• Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines for consistent release validation.
• Provide clear reporting on test coverage, pass/fail results, and defect tracking.
• Support BAU update testing by automating repetitive validation tasks.
• Collaborate with development and other technology teams to troubleshoot issues and refine requirements.

We are currently looking for a motivated Test Automation Engineer to work with our growing technology team.

Role Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, stability and performance of software applications (digital platforms, products and projects) by setting up, maintaining and running automation frameworks/tools to facilitate the software testing lifecycle. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, technical ability to build testing automation tools and collaboration with other teams within technology in an Agile Kanban environment.
