Job summary

Independence Australia Group is seeking a detail-oriented Test Analyst to join our West Footscray team. You will design and execute test strategies for ERP, eCommerce, integrations and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring solutions are thoroughly tested and deployment-ready.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, BA, developers and vendors to deliver quality outcomes and support automation and QA process maturity across enterprise applications.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Test Analyst, QA Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience testing enterprise applications including ERP, eCommerce, integrations and APIs.
  • ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts across enterprise applications.
  • Perform system, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
  • Identify, document, prioritise, and manage defects through to resolution with stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product Owners and project teams to communicate testing progress, risks, issues, and outcomes.
  • Support project delivery through test planning, deployment readiness, cutover activities, and post-implementation validation.
  • Maintain high-quality testing documentation including traceability, defect logs, and test reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement by applying best-practice testing methodologies and enhancing QA processes and tools.

Reporting to the Test & Quality Analyst Lead, you will be responsible for testing enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and new functionality across our enterprise applications landscape.

Working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders, you will help ensure technology solutions are thoroughly tested, fit for purpose, and ready for deployment.

This role offers the opportunity to work on and manage a variety of projects end-to-end across ERP, eCommerce, integration, and digital transformation initiatives while contributing to the ongoing maturity of our testing and quality assurance practices.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity based at our West Footscray office.

What you will be doing

What we are looking for

You are a detail-oriented testing professional with strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality technology solutions.

You will have:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Test Analyst, QA Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing best practices.
  • Experience testing enterprise applications, including ERP, eCommerce, integrations, and APIs.
  • Proven capability in system, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, Postman, or similar.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality outcomes.
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent testing certification is desirable.
