Position: Test Administrator

Reporting to: Test Centre Manager

Pearson VUE offers a great environment to start or grow your career. We are now hiring for a Casual Test Administrator to join our team at 470 Collins Street, Melbourne 3000.

Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, with availability to work a variety of shifts across Weekdays (Monday to Friday) and Weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Our operating hours are between 7am and 11pm.

We offer an attractive pay rate of $37.13. The candidate must be open to flexible to work range of shifts in the morning and evening. This is strictly a Casual position and will remain as such.

Responsibilities

• Providing an exceptional customer service and a secure exam delivery environment.
• Complying with all testing procedures and strictly adhering to company policies.
• Checking and verifying candidates’ identification against test registration; and helping them to set up for test.
• Explaining the exam procedures and proctoring / invigilating candidates while testing.
• Troubleshooting with internal departments to fix any technical issues.
• Escalating any policy breaches immediately to relevant business personnel.
• Completing light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming the floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate has finished their examination schedule.
• Other ad hoc duties as directed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly desirable.
• Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time and be able to bend and lift up to 20 lbs with independence.
• Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment, hear soft voices and see details from a distance.
