3M in North Ryde, AU is seeking an experienced sales professional to grow Automotive Aftermarket product penetration across the territory. You will exceed sales forecasts, deliver annual plans, and drive sales across the Transportation Industry by coordinating head office calendars.

You will identify market segments, prepare annual plans, and foster relationships with key accounts at head office. The role requires 80% face-to-face time with end users and regional travel.

Qualifikationen

• Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
• Two years in a professional sales role; industrial sales preferred.
• Strong selling and key account management skills.
• Good computer literacy with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Prepare and execute annual sales plan.
• Foster strong relationships with key accounts at head office.
• Support execution of plans through AAD distribution network.
• Take responsibility for other products/projects as required.
• Spend 80% of territory time face to face with end users.
• Manage a regional sales territory including overnight travel.

Job Description

• To increase the penetration of Automotive Aftermarket Products and exceed the sales forecast for the products in your territory.
• To achieve annual sales operating plans.
• To drive sales throughout the Transportation Industry by delivering strong head office promotional calendars
• To identify and prioritise market segment and alternative channel opportunities for Automotive Aftermarket Division Products - (May include Marine & Commercial Vehicle)
• Prepare and execute annual sales plan.
• Foster strong relationships with key account contacts at head office level
• Support the execution of plans through AAD distribution network.
• To take responsibility for other products/projects as required.
• To spend 80% of territory time face to face with the end user customer
• Responsibility for a regional sales territory, which will include overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Higher School Certificate or equivalent
• No Specific Tertiary Qualifications required
• Cert III - Paint Technician or Panel Beater Technician Qualification (would be preferred)
• Minimum 2 years in Professional Sales Role Experience in an Industrial Sales Role preferred.
• Strong and consistent recent sales results
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred, but the passion for development of this ability essential
• Strong selling and key account management skills
• High degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel analysis & PowerPoint required.
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Excellent Presentation Skills
• Strong Listening Skills
• Attention to detail
• Confident manner with internal team and external customers
• Problem solving ability & resourcefully innovative in order to fulfil customers’ requirements.
• Knowledge of Industrial products or terminology an advantage
