Engage Talent presents an Area Sales Manager role for a household brand with a long track record of global leadership. You will manage relationships with key retailers, hit sales targets, and visit major stores to drive in-store performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in field, retail sales or account management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel and work on the road.
• Proficient with CRM and sales reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with key retail customers across your territory.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and budgets.
• Visit major retailers, independents and regional stores in line with call cycles.
• Identify and open new retail opportunities.
• Drive sales through merchandising, ranging, displays and in-store marketing.
• Maintain planogram compliance and in-store standards.
• Influence store orders and replenishment levels to maximise sales.
• Provide product training and sales support to retail teams.
• Complete daily store visit reporting and CRM activities.
• Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Manage and coordinate a part-time merchandiser, including rosters and store visits.
• Support demonstrations, trade shows and promotional activities.
• Work with the National Field Sales Manager to deliver territory objectives.
• Ensure product collection processes run smoothly across stores.
• Represent the business professionally with customers and retail partners.
