Job summary

Construction Equipment Australia (CEA) seeks an experienced Dealer Territory Manager to strengthen dealer performance, expand market share and drive sales growth across an established territory in Australia. You will liaise with dealers, the CEA team and the factory to unlock opportunities.

This role involves travel across the territory, developing plans, providing product training, and delivering solid results through strong relationship management.

Qualifications

• Experience in dealer networks and territory sales or business development.
• Exposure to construction equipment, agricultural machinery, transport, or related industries is highly regarded.
• Proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders who do not report directly to you.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing sales targets, margins, forecasting and business planning.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strong and productive relationships with dealer partners across your region.
• Support dealers with product training, customer demonstrations, pricing, promotions and major sales opportunities.
• Develop territory plans and work with dealers to set and achieve sales targets.
• Conduct regular business reviews covering sales performance, pipeline activity, inventory management and marketing initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve dealer coverage and assist with dealer recruitment and onboarding.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback.
• Provide market intelligence and dealer feedback to CEA and the SANY factory to support product development and business growth.
• Promote the SANY brand and ensure a consistent customer experience across the dealer network.
