Medtronic in Perth is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to drive sales and patient-focused outcomes for the Acute Care & Monitoring portfolio. You will educate clinicians, build long-term relationships, and manage capital equipment and consumable sales across assigned accounts.

The role requires a High School Diploma with 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent, and willingness to travel up to 25% with a valid driver's licence. ICU/CTU experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote, educate, and sell products and services within assigned geographic area to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Understand customer needs and provide credible alternatives for mutual outcomes.
• Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders to sell ACM consumables and capital equipment.
• Provide education, training & case support to clinical end users and hospital staff.
• Manage customer queries professionally and provide timely follow-ups and after-hours support when needed.
• Maintain high levels of product and technical knowledge and stay informed on competitive products.
• Gather market intelligence on customer and competitor activities to inform strategies.
• Implement market development plans and adjust strategies as needed.

Our Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) business, formally Patient Monitoring and Respiratory Interventions, works together with the global healthcare community to solve clinically meaningful problems, with technologies and solutions for blood oxygen management, respiratory compromise and perioperative complications.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our high performing Acute Care & Monitoring team based in Perth. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, who offers support, guidance, and mentorship to own your success, this is a perfect opportunity to join Medtronic.

Primary Responsibilities

• Promote, educate, and sell products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Strive to understand customer needs and provide credible alternatives that affect mutually beneficial outcomes for the customer and the company.
• Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders and leverage these to sell Acute Care & Monitoring consumables and capital equipment.
• Provide education, training & case support effectively to all clinical end users and hospital staff.
• Manage customer queries in a professional manner. Ensure timely follow-up and prompt resolution to customer/patient technical and product issues, including after-hours support when needed.
• Ensure the highest level of product and technical knowledge is attained and maintained.
• Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company’s products.
• Gather market intelligence (customer and competitor activities) by observation, discussion, or research.
• Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is High School Diploma with 6 years relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in sales or clinical setting.
• Required to travel up to 25%; valid driver’s licence required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ICU or Neonatal ICU, Operating Theatre or Emergency Department is preferred.
