Ceduna Area School in Ceduna, South Australia, invites applications for a Temporary Teacher in the Primary Special Class to Year 6. The role works with two other Special Class teachers across Reception to Year 12 in a purpose-built facility.

Salary ranges from $84,971 to $123,236 per annum FTE, with country zone and locality allowances, possible subsidised accommodation and removal expenses. Part-time or flexible arrangements will be considered.

Qualifications

• Teach in a Special Class across Reception to Year 6.
• Experience in primary Special Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored lessons in Special Education for Year 6 and below.
• Collaborate with two other Special Class teachers across Reception to Year 12.

Position Descriptor: Ceduna Area School is situated on the Thevenard Peninsula overlooking Murat Bay. Ceduna enjoys access to fantastic beaches for camping, fishing and surfing. The town has two supermarkets that receive regular fresh supplies and shopping precinct that boasts stores that sell sporting, electrical & clothing goods. The town has a well-resourced, large rural medical practice and hospital. Medical supplies are available from the two chemists. There are a number of different sports on offer through the of sporting organisations in Ceduna. The school caters for reception to year 12 students from within Ceduna and neighbouring towns. Position to teach in new, state of the art, purpose built Special Class facilities. Junior Primary / Primary year levels working with two other Special Class teachers across Reception to Year 12.
In addition to the salary the following financial incentives may apply depending on the site location:
