Position Descriptor: Clare Primary School is seeking a passionate and committed Year 4/5 Primary Class Teacher to join our supportive and collaborative learning community.
At Clare Primary School, we have a strong focus on wellbeing for learning, implementing Berry Street Education Model practices across the school to foster a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment for all students.
Our school has established a number of whole-school agreements, including a consistent Literacy program that utilises the Department for Education Scope and Sequence for the teaching of spelling and grammar. The successful applicant will be well supported through access to a school-based coordinator and a Literacy Guarantee Unit coach.
The successful applicant will become part of a collaborative primary learning team and will also contribute as a member of a site action team, with a focus on Pedagogy, Wellbeing and ICT in Learning.
Clare Primary School values strong partnerships with families and encourages positive communication through platforms such as ClassDojo, Facebook stories, and regular class newsletter articles, ensuring parents and caregivers are well informed about their child's learning experiences and progress.
