  • Supportive leadership and committed stakeholders
  • Strong potential to make procedural improvements and leave a lasting positive impact
About You
  • Experience in access control, security systems, audits, facilities management, or strata/residential schemes
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and comfort handling system logs and data reconciliation
  • Excellent communication skills - able to draft clear notices and liaise with residents and owners
  • High integrity and discretion; committed to confidentiality
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritise under deadlines
About the Role

  • Location: Centrally located in the riverside western suburbs
  • Hours: Flexible within business operating hours
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Systematically review and reconcile all current access credentials, with a focus on identifying unauthorised usage
  • Compile an updated register of residents/owners using data from strata management, building management, and resident surveys; validate data as needed
  • Perform a comprehensive audit: compare the active security access system against the official register to find mismatches or unauthorised credentials
  • Analyse access logs (fobs, Bluetooth, PINs) to detect facility access without corresponding unit/apartment access
  • Identify and document non-residents using communal facilities (without an associated resident)
  • Review over-issuance of credentials for units with excessive numbers of fobs or access devices
  • Identify non-resident credentials (excluding authorised contractors) and flag them for deactivation
  • Under supervision, deactivate or remove unauthorised or excessive access privileges
  • Assist with supporting administrative and data needs to develop and finalise a new Security & Access Policy
  • Draft clear communications to residents/owners about the new policy
  • Coordinate printing and posting notices in visible common areas to ensure awareness
  • Document the methodology and findings of the review; provide a robust, recorded procedure for future audits
  • Handle all resident personal data and access logs with care and confidentiality; prepare a final report summarising findings and actions taken
