Job summary

Randstad is recruiting reliable, detail-oriented individuals for short-term operational roles supporting a major government event. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse, performing sorting, counting, extraction, and table setup with full on-site training.

Roles run 1-3 weeks with morning and night shifts available, and there is dedicated transport from Southern Cross Station to the Port Melbourne site. Ideal candidates show attention to detail, integrity, physical capability, and hold full

Qualifications

Attention to detail to maintain high accuracy during repetitive tasks.
High ethical standards and impartiality in duties.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 13 kg.
Must have full Australian working rights and be able to pass a police check.

Responsibilities

Sorting & Material Handling: receiving packages, unboxing, verifying contents, removing seals and batching for processing.
Counting & Reconciliation: accurately sorting, counting and reconciling high volumes for system entry.
Extraction & Preparation: opening envelopes and extracting materials for data processing under guidelines.
Table & Logistical Support: setting up work tables, managing stock, and performing batch quality checks.
