Job summary

Homes NSW, a division of the Department of Communities and Justice, invites applications for an Engagement Officer located in Coniston, Wollongong. This temporary, full-time role (35 hours per week) supports local communication and engagement aligned with the division's strategic direction.

You will build relationships, prepare public information materials, and develop community engagement plans with travel within the region. A tertiary qualification and NSW driver’s licence are required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Current NSW drivers' licence is required for travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support project activities.
• Prepare, produce and release public information (newsletters, updates, brochures, presentations, articles) and liaise with divisions and external agencies.
• Develop and implement community engagement plans in line with LAHC requirements to ensure stakeholders are consulted appropriately.
