A MR driver's license and a White Card are mandatory, with long shifts and 10-hour days on offer. Shifts run 5–6 days per week from September through late November, with potential continuation.

Telehandler Operator + MR Driver –Cairns Project

Elite Resource Australia is recruiting an experienced Telehandler Operator with an MR driver’s license for a major infrastructure project in Cairns.
This role runs from September through to late November, with potential to continue.

About the Role

This position supports daily site operations and logistics.

Key tasks include:

• Operating the telehandler to move materials and assist site crews

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Driving jobs between site and yard

• Refuelling equipment

• Delivering materials using a 7‑tonne flatbed truck

• Assisting site teams with general duties when required

Shifts are minimum 10 hours, 5–6 days per week, offering strong earning potential.

Pay Rates

• $45/hr – Normal Time

• $60/hr – OT1

• $75/hr – OT2

Requirements

• Valid Telehandler ticket

• Proven telehandler operating experience

• MR driver’s licence (mandatory)

• White Card

• Strong understanding of safe lifting and material‑handling practices

• Reliable, fit for duty, and able to work long shifts

• Able to start ASAP

• Must complete drug & alcohol screen and face‑fit test prior to starting (organised by Elite Resource)

• Local Cairns candidates preferred
