QA Hay in Warracknabeal, Victoria is seeking an experienced Telehandler Loader Driver to join its production team at a busy hay processing and export facility. You’ll operate a telehandler to move bales, load containers, check loads and seal containers to ensure everything leaving site meets our standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a telehandler to unload trucks and stack the warehouse.
• Load hay onto bale press and containers.
• Operate a forklift to support bale handling and yard work.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report faults.
• Inspect containers for cleanliness, dryness and fit for export.
• Check bale quality and set aside non-conforming loads.
• Record container and bale numbers accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean loading zone and work with drivers.
• Support daily loading and production targets.
• Adhere to all safety, site and operating procedures.

QA Hay is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, hands‑on Telehandler Loader Driver to join our production team at our hay processing and export facility in Warracknabeal.

You're the last stop before the port. You'll operate a telehandler to move pressed hay bales around the site and load them into shipping containers, then check the load, seal it and send it. Nothing leaves our site without going past you first. You'll work alongside a practical, hardworking team to keep quality Australian hay moving and our trucks leaving on time.

This is a role for someone who already knows their way around a telehandler and a forklift. Hay experience isn't essential, and we'll train you on our site, our product and our loading process, but you'll need to bring solid machine operating experience with you. Shortlisted applicants will complete a practical operating assessment as part of the recruitment process.

What you'll be doing

• Operating a telehandler to unload trucks and stacking the warehouse
• Loading hay on to haytable on the bale press
• Operating a forklift to support bale handling and yard work as required including onto containers
• Completing daily pre‑start checks and reporting any faults before the machine runs
• Inspecting empty containers to make sure they're clean, dry, sound and fit for export
• Checking bale quality as you load and setting aside anything that doesn't meet the standard
• Managing the loading zone and working safely with truck drivers and other operators
• Sealing containers and accurately recording container numbers, seal numbers and bale counts
• Keeping the telehandler and surrounding work areas clean, safe and ready
• Working with the team to achieve daily loading and production targets
• Following all safety, site and operating procedures
