Red Migration in Brisbane is seeking a Telecommunications Field Engineer to lead site integration, commissioning and carrier acceptance on its national project pipeline. The role involves greenfield and brownfield sites with regular trips to remote and metro locations.
The successful candidate will bring RF/Tx know-how, rigging, civil construction awareness and relevant tickets (Rigging, EWP, Working at Heights).
Telco engineers who combine RF and transmission know-how with rigging tickets have a clear opening in Brisbane. An Australian-owned infrastructure contractor, working for prime contractors and carriers around the country, wants a Telecommunications Field Engineer to lead site integration, commissioning and carrier acceptance on its national project pipeline. Expect a mix of greenfield builds and brownfield co-locations, with regular trips to remote and metro sites.
Beyond RF and Tx, the business delivers rigging, civil construction, structure upgrades and decommissioning, run by two director-led delivery teams from its base north of Brisbane.
What does this mean for your visa plans?
The role is full-time direct employment, not labour hire, under ANZSCO 313212, and the employer holds approval as a Standard Business Sponsor for the Skills in Demand programme (Subclass 482).
In practice, overseas applicants who are suitably qualified and already on an eligible visa may be considered, although Australian citizens, permanent residents and other Australians are considered first.
Your English CV should show the rigging ticket you hold, your EWP and Working at Heights cards and the acceptance packs you have delivered.
