Job summary

Cyient in Sydney seeks a design-focused civil/structural engineer for telecom projects. You will perform design, analysis and modelling of towers, monopoles and rooftops, deliver civil/structural plans and layouts, and review designs to ensure quality and compliance with budget and schedule.

Under supervision, you will apply your knowledge of telecom engineering and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve client challenges and support project delivery from concept through completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 2–5 years of telecom experience.
• Experience in design, analysis, and modelling of telecom structures (towers/monopoles/rooftops).
• Ability to develop structural plans and layouts and review designs for quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Performing design and analysis functions for various communications, utility and other structures
• Structural assessments and evaluations of existing communications, utility and other structures
• Modelling of telecommunications structures such as towers, monopoles and rooftops structures
• Providing Civil/Structural engineering plans, designs, and layouts
• Developing solutions to challenges presented by the client within budget, schedule and project constraints
• Reviewing / Certifying designs prepared by others and peer review.
• Managing, administering and designing structural components of non-structural projects
