Job summary

JB Hi-Fi is looking for a Telco Sales Coordinator to support the Store Management team in achieving storewide objectives, with a special emphasis on the Communications department to enhance customer experiences.

You will lead and train the Communications Team, ensure merchandising standards are followed, and uphold safety and compliance across in-store processes. This role offers a dynamic retail environment with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• You must enjoy working in a casual and fun atmosphere with proven retail experience and broad Telco knowledge.
• Proven customer service experience and background in cash handling, including EFTPOS, and ability to sell retail products.
• You must work independently and as part of a team and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and profitability targets for your store through ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to the Communications Team with the customer at the center.
• Lead and maintain the Communications Department merchandising standards.
• Ensure all Communications Department activities meet safety and legislative standards, including in-store processes and incident reporting.

Job Description

As the Telco Sales Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to assist the Store Management team with storewide objectives, ensuring a culture of collective high performance and great customer experiences across the store is upheld, with a specific focus on the Communications department, including:

• Achieving sales and profitability targets for your store through providing ongoing training, coaching, support and feedback to the store’s Communication Team, putting the customer at the centerof everything you do
• Leading and maintaining the agreed communications department merchandising standards
• Ensuring all Communications Department activities meet compliance and legislative standards, with an emphasis on Safety, including in-store process and incident reporting

Qualifications

• You must enjoy working in a casual and fun atmosphere, have proven retail experience and a broad knowledge of Telco
• Proven customer service experience and background in cash handling, including the use of EFTPOS facilities (preferably electronic POS systems), and the ability to sell retail products and merchandise
• You must be able to work both independently and as part of our consolidated sales team, and have the ability to work under pressure!
