Qualifications

• At least 6 months of TechnologyOne configuration experience.
• Exposure to Financials, Assets, SCM, HRP.
• Have a practical mindset: organized, curious, detail-focused.
• Willing to Canberra-based and travel to clients.

• Support Tech One projects end to end: discovery, configuration, testing, training, go live, stabilization.
• Capture requirements, document processes, and translate needs into system changes.
• Contribute to testing and user training materials.

I’m recruiting a TechnologyOne Consultant role with a growing Tech One consulting firm in Canberra. You’ll learn on real projects that go live, build your consulting toolkit fast, and get support from senior consultants who actually have time for you.

Please note: You will need to be an Australian citizen to work in this role as the vast majority of clients are Federal Government departments.

The work

• Support Tech One projects end to end: discovery, configuration, testing, training, go live, and stabilisation
• Help capture requirements, document processes, and translate what users need into practical system changes
• Assist with configuration under guidance from senior consultants
• Contribute to testing (test scripts, UAT support, defect logging) and training (materials, sessions, floor walking)
• Help clients navigate change with clear comms, steady support, and follow through
• Improve templates and repeatable project assets as you learn what good looks like
• Keep learning: shadow seniors, ask questions, take feedback well, and get better every month

You

• At least 6 months of TechnologyOne configuration experience
• Exposure to one or more of: Financials, Assets, SCM, HRP
• A practical mindset: you’re organised, curious, and you don’t mind getting into the detail
• Comfortable talking with a range of stakeholders and happy to learn how to do this well
• You write clearly and follow process (tickets, notes, documentation, actions)
• Willing to be Canberra based and occasionally travel to clients

Nice to haves

• Experience in government, councils, or regulated environments
• Basic reporting skills (Excel, Power BI exposure)
• Any training or facilitation exposure, even informal
