Job summary

SMS Integration in Ballarat is seeking a Business Analyst/Trainer for TechnologyOne. You will gather requirements from council staff, translate them into functional specs, and configure TechnologyOne solutions with a focus on Property & Rating.

You’ll also plan end-user training, develop guides, and support change management to ensure smooth adoption across client sites. Join a hands-on team that works closely with council clients, travels to sites as needed, and delivers end-to-end training and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a business analyst or related delivery role for councils or government.
• Hands-on TechnologyOne experience, preferably Property & Rating.
• Experience delivering system training and creating training materials.
• Understanding of Australian local government operations.
• Solid requirements gathering, documentation and workshop facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with Visio, MS Project and the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable with client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Run workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather and document requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional specs and user stories for config.
• Configure and support TechnologyOne solutions, especially Property & Rating.
• Plan and deliver end-user training, in person and online.
• Develop training material, guides and process maps for clients.
• Support change management, including communications and readiness.
• Advise on records management and information governance.
• Write test plans and coordinate UAT; verify solutions meet needs.
• Produce client dashboards using TechnologyOne and related tools.
• Maintain project plans and documentation in MS Project/Visio/365.
