Job summary

Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking an Executive Manager Technology Strategy to shape the future direction of its technology function at national scale. You will partner with senior leaders to solve complex, high-impact challenges and turn strategy into action that delivers customer and business outcomes.

This senior role requires proven experience in enterprise-wide technology strategy, with a leading consulting background preferred.

Qualifications

Significant enterprise-wide technology strategy experience.
Background with leading consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or equivalent.
Ability to translate strategy into measurable business outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal executive communication skills.
Experience using AI tools to enhance strategic analysis.

Responsibilities

Be a trusted executive level strategy advisor to the group’s technology leadership.
Define and improve governance, reporting requirements including milestones, financials, benefits and risks.
Ensure initiatives and OKRs align with domain and BU/SU strategy.
Develop and implement business management practices and operating rhythms.
Facilitate risk, issue and dependency resolution affecting priorities and outcomes.
Monitor performance with dashboards for data-driven leadership insights.
Oversee workforce and financial management against targets.
