HR Partners seeks a Technology Risk and Resilience Specialist to provide senior second-line risk oversight across technology-enabled initiatives. You will deliver risk insights, governance and assurance across data governance, AI risk, cloud platforms and crisis management to shape a secure operating environment.

You will develop risk policies and procedures, perform independent control testing, and report to senior leadership on threats and resilience trends.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in technology risk management or related field.
• Expertise in data governance, AI risk management, and cloud environments.
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CCSP are desirable.
• Experience in APRA-regulated environments is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Provide second-line oversight across technology risk, cyber security, and resilience activities.
• Develop and implement technology risk policies, guidelines and procedures aligning with regs and best practices.
• Coordinate and execute independent control testing and assurance across core tech and recovery domains.
• Deliver risk insights and reporting to stakeholders on emerging threats and cloud resilience.
• Review root cause analyses after incidents to ensure sustainable remediation.

We are seeking a Technology Risk and Resilience Specialist to provide senior second-line risk oversight across complex, technology-enabled initiatives. In this key advisory role, you will deliver authoritative risk insights, governance, and assurance across data governance, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud platforms, and crisis management, helping shape a secure and resilient operational environment.

What You Will Do

• Provide independent second-line oversight and challenge across technology risk management, cyber security, and resilience activities.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate technology policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Design, coordinate, and execute independent control testing and assurance activities across core technology and recovery domains.
• Deliver expert advice and regular reporting to key stakeholders regarding emerging threats, cloud resilience, and systemic risk trends.
• Review root cause analyses following incidents to ensure sustainable, long-term remediation actions are successfully embedded.

What You Need to Apply for This Role

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Risk, Business, Commerce, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in technology or information security risk management, assurance, or control testing (preferably within financial services).
• Subject matter expertise in data governance, AI risk management, and cloud-based environments.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to challenge and influence senior leadership.
• Track record of successfully embedding uplifted risk frameworks; relevant industry certifications (e.g. CISA, CRISC, CCSP) or experience in APRA-regulated environments are highly desirable.
