ITbility is seeking a Technology Risk Advisor for a 6+ month contract role in Brisbane. The role involves acting as a consultant to technology teams, guiding risk-informed decisions and governance across customer projects.

You will craft risk papers, report on risk posture, and support contract risk management in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have strong cyber security experience, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritise competing risk priorities while

• First line of defence risk management role acting as consultant to technology teams delivering services to customers.
• Understands policies, standards and frameworks and guides teams to manage responsibilities in risk-aligned ways.
• Creates risk reports and assessment papers; recommends approaches to senior management.
• Participates in key risk forums such as the customer's Technology Non-Financial Risk Forum.
• Supports contract risk management processes and governance activities.
• Manages risk events and control tests within the customer's risk management tool.

Required Skills:

• First line of defence risk management role that acts as a consultant and advisor to a range of technology teams that deliver services to the Customer
• Understands policies, standards and frameworks and supports teams to manage their responsibilities in pragmatic, risk aligned ways
• Creates risk reports, assessment papers and recommends approaches to senior management
• Attends key risk forums such as the customer's Technology Non-Financial Risk Forum
• Supports contract risk management processes
• Administers risk events, control tests etc within customer's risk management application
• Role would suit experienced risk advisor who has technology and/or cyber security experience and who is collaborative, a good communicator and able to deal with competing risk priorities in a very dynamic environment
