Job summary

ElectraNet Pty Ltd is seeking a Technology Asset Management Analyst to strengthen governance, visibility and lifecycle management of technology assets across ITAM, SAM and CMDB domains. You’ll work across ITAM, SAM and CMDB to drive operational excellence, governance and audit readiness, reducing risk and delivering data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in ITAM, SAM or CMDB administration.
  • Strong ServiceNow CMDB capability including data quality management and lifecycle controls.
  • Analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills across multiple data sources.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate, trusted, auditable records for technology assets and configuration items across their lifecycle.
  • Govern and enhance the ServiceNow CMDB with data quality and lifecycle controls.
  • Identify and manage asset, configuration and software licensing risks with supporting compliance reporting.
  • Deliver insights, service mapping and continuous improvement to reduce technical debt.

The Opportunity

Join ElectraNet at a pivotal time as we continue to support South Australia’s clean energy future. As a Technology Asset Management Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, governance and visibility of ElectraNet’s technology assets across their lifecycle.

Working across IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM) and Configuration Management (CMDB), you'll help drive operational excellence, strengthen compliance and audit readiness, reduce risk, and provide valuable insights that support informed technology decisions.

This is an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide practices, work with modern platforms such as ServiceNow, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that deliver tangible business value.

Key Role Deliverables
  • Maintain accurate, trusted and auditable records for technology assets, software and configuration items across their lifecycle.
  • Govern and enhance the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data quality, integrity, compliance and lifecycle controls are embedded into business processes.
  • Identify and manage asset, configuration and software licensing risks while supporting compliance, audit and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Deliver asset management insights, service mapping, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives that improve operational visibility and reduce technical debt.
About You

You are a detail-oriented technology professional with experience in IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management or Configuration Management. You enjoy working with data, systems and stakeholders to improve processes and drive better business outcomes.

With strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset, you're comfortable investigating data quality issues, influencing stakeholders and building accountability across technical and business teams.

Ideally, you'll bring hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and a solid understanding of governance, compliance and lifecycle management practices in a complex technology environment.

Key Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in ITAM, SAM and/or CMDB administration, including governance, compliance and audit readiness.
  • Strong hands-on ServiceNow CMDB capability, including data quality management, lifecycle controls and configuration governance.
  • Excellent analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across multiple data sources and drive remediation activities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across technical and business teams.
