About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Support Associate – Deployment team member to join our Australia Operations team in Sydney. While this role sits within Technical Support, it is primarily an office-based operational position focused on preparing and deploying EFTPOS terminals, managing hardware inventory, coordinating deliveries, maintaining deployment records, and supporting day-to-day merchant operations.

You will also assist with basic terminal and connectivity troubleshooting, with occasional onsite merchant support when operationally required.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with technology and hardware while also being highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing operational processes in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, configure, test, and quality-check EFTPOS terminals before merchant deployment
• Process terminal deployment, replacement, and collection requests
• Coordinate courier shipments and monitor terminal delivery and collection status
• Maintain accurate records for terminals, SIM cards, inventory, and deployments across internal systems
• Manage hardware inventory, stock movements, and basic warehouse coordination
• Troubleshoot basic terminal, connectivity, hardware, and configuration issues
• Support POS and integration preparation and **escalate** more complex technical issues where required
• Assist merchants with basic technical enquiries and deployment-related issues
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Operations, and other internal teams
• Provide occasional onsite merchant support when operationally required

What We’re Looking For

• 0–2 years of experience in technical support, IT operations, POS/EFTPOS, hardware deployment, logistics, or device management
• Comfortable working with payment terminals, POS systems, hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deployment requests accurately
• Confident working in a fast-paced, operational environment involving repetitive and hands-on tasks
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills when supporting merchants and internal teams
• Proactive, reliable, and able to take ownership of tasks from start to completion
