Job summary

KDT Australia NSW in Sydney is seeking a full-time Technical Service Engineer to join our team in Rouse Hill. You will examine and test machines and control systems to diagnose faults, adjust and replace worn parts, and reassemble equipment for testing.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in Electrical or Mechatronics with a trade or diploma, knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and strong reading of manuals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical or mechatronics.
• Trade or diploma qualifications required.
• Experience on panel-based woodworking machinery highly valued.
• Ability to read manuals and OEM guides.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to service mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Examine and test machines and control systems to diagnose faults.
• Repair and replace worn parts and wiring; maintain equipment.
• Reassemble, test-operate and adjust equipment.
• Advise users on correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
• Install electronic equipment and control systems.
• Commission and maintain control systems using electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
