Job summary

Easygo is seeking a Technical SEO Manager to bridge strategy and engineering, owning search performance across all digital properties and regulated markets. You will lead audits, drive architecture, and brief Product/Engineering, mentoring junior teammates while shaping scalable SEO initiatives from Melbourne.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in technical SEO, including at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
• Experience managing technical SEO for large scale websites (100,000+ pages).
• Strong background in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Vue/Svelte).
• Experience with headless CMS implementations (Sanity preferred).
• Proficiency with technical SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush and Google Search Console.
• A track record briefing and collaborating directly with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Run advanced technical SEO audits and lead optimisation work across regulated markets.
• Brief Product and Engineering on SEO requirements, turning them into clear technical specs and JIRA tickets.
• Own site architecture, crawlability, rendering strategy and performance across all properties.
• Build and maintain technical SEO standards and documentation for cross team adoption.
• Track and report on technical SEO performance to stakeholders.
• Scout and roll out emerging SEO technologies and automation to help the team scale.
• Mentor and develop a Technical SEO Executive through coaching and delegation.

Your track record:

Bonus points if you also have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing or a related field
• Experience with JAMstack architecture and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with international or multi language SEO
• Background in regulated markets
• Experience in gambling, gaming or another highly competitive industry
• Proficiency with SQL, API development or data visualisation tools like Looker
• Familiarity with headless CMS query languages (GROQ, GraphQL) and Git version control
