Drive Solution Development
  • Collaboration with R&D to push new products and solutions into the market
  • Identifying new applications for existing products
  • Champion packaging of Prysmian products and services to create value propositions
  • Prescribe cable solutions to affiliates for manufacture on key projects
  • Work collaboratively with R&D to reverse engineer competitor products and evaluate competitiveness of Prysmian cable solutions
Early Engagement for Key Opportunities
  • In collaboration with relevant channel, engage with customer to lock in Prysmian solutions to customer needs, reduce competition and increase profitability
  • Leverage technical and industry knowledge to identify profitable new opportunities.
  • Determine profitable solutions for Prysmian to win the business (with the client.)
  • Present solutions to key client stakeholders.
Customer Service
  • Participate in customer driven technical innovation initiatives or continuous programs for key contracts
  • Deliver post sales care persistently, managing the relationships whilst seeking additional opportunities for Prysmian products.
  • Deliberate efforts to put Prysmian on the map participating in industry forums, customer contact events and social media
  • Training of other customer facing staff to increase products and services knowledge
Skills Requirements
  • Customer orientated and value driven
  • Ability to interact at technical level with client’s engineers and consultants
  • Ability to read and understand cable standards and specifications
  • Picks up on technical things quickly; can learn new skills and knowledge; is good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge.
  • Versatile and can work in cross-functional problem solving or opportunity development teams
