Job summary

Sharp & Carter in Western Australia is seeking a Recruiter to support high-volume recruitment across mining, resources, engineering and technical sectors. You will partner with multiple stakeholders to understand role requirements and build targeted sourcing strategies.

You’ll manage the candidate journey from talent identification through interviews, offers and onboarding, while building strong pipelines and delivering a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building with diverse audiences.
• Highly organised with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proactive, curious and resilient mindset to achieve results.
• Experience in recruitment or related fields is advantageous.
• Exposure to recruitment systems like Bullhorn, SEEK, LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage high-quality technical and engineering talent.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK, databases, referrals and networking.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand role requirements and sourcing strategies.
• Develop engaging job advertisements and candidate attraction strategies.
• Screen, interview and shortlist candidates against role requirements.
• Coordinate reference checks, offers, onboarding and feedback.
• Maintain recruitment records and systems with accuracy and compliance.
• Deliver timely communication and a high-quality candidate experience.
