Job summary

Toll Aviation is seeking a highly organised Technical Records Officer to join our Maintenance team in Australia. You will ensure accuracy, integrity and compliance of aircraft maintenance records and operational documentation, validating data and supporting control activities to keep the helicopter fleet airworthy.

The role requires aviation maintenance experience, attention to detail, and strong document control skills, with exposure to maintenance control, airworthiness and procurement tasks.

• Conduct quality checks of maintenance records, work packages and aircraft documentation.
• Maintain aircraft, engine and component records, including archiving and retention activities.
• Maintain and update logbooks for engines and components.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding component records and maintenance documentation.
• Provide support to the Maintenance Controller and broader Maintenance Control function.

The Opportunity -

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Technical Records Officer to join our Aviation Maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and compliance of aircraft maintenance records and operational documentation.

This role is responsible for validating maintenance and flight operations data, maintaining aircraft records and supporting maintenance control activities to ensure the continued airworthiness and operational readiness of Toll Aviation's helicopter fleet.

What You'll Be Doing -

• Reconcile daily flight operations and maintenance records within aviation maintenance management systems.
• Validate aircraft maintenance data against operational records and documentation.
• Support maintenance teams with post-maintenance documentation and work package completion.
• Conduct quality checks of maintenance records, work packages and aircraft documentation.
• Maintain aircraft, engine and component records, including archiving and retention activities.
• Maintain and update hard-copy engine and component logbooks.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding component records and maintenance documentation.
• Provide support to the Maintenance Controller and broader Maintenance Control function.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring experience within aviation maintenance, technical services, airworthiness or aircraft records management and have a passion for accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

• Experience using Gannet or similar aviation maintenance software systems.
• Aircraft records management or document control experience within an aviation environment.
• Experience supporting maintenance control, technical services, airworthiness, aviation procurement or aviation projects.
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes and aircraft systems, with AW139 experience advantageous.
• Strong understanding of electronic document management and records retention systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a highly organised approach to work.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
