Job summary

Better Staff seeks a Technical Project Manager for network infrastructure projects in Sydney. You will own multiple concurrent initiatives, with a focus on firewall migrations and upgrades, coordinating with technical teams, clients and vendors to keep programs on track.

You will lead governance, manage risks, scope, and budgets, and report progress at executive levels. This is a permanent, full-time role requiring strong networking knowledge and outstanding stakeholder communication.

About the Opportunity

A well-established and growing IT services provider based in North Sydney is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join their team. This role will see you take ownership of multiple concurrent network infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on firewall migrations, firewall upgrades, and related network initiatives.

This is not a hands-on engineering position but rather they are looking for someone with a solid working knowledge of networking technologies who can confidently engage with technical teams, clients, and vendors to keep complex projects moving forward.

Please note: occasional after-hours work is required (remote, generally no more than once a week) to coordinate with stakeholders during scheduled change windows.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering to agreed scope, budget, and timelines
• Coordinating technical resources and driving projects through to successful completion
