Job summary

Experis Australia seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead infrastructure and technology migration programs in a fast-paced environment. You will own end-to-end delivery, manage budgets, resources and risks, and drive governance across stakeholders.

This contract role offers a day-rate of AUD 700–725 plus super, with opportunities to influence major infrastructure initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects as a Technical Project Manager.
• Strong background in migration projects including planning and stakeholder management.
• Experience with risk management and maintaining risk registers.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasting and resource planning.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Technical Project Manager - Infrastructure (Contract)

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex infrastructure and technology migration projects within a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent contract opportunity for a hands‑on project professional who can manage budgets, resources, risks, and project delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of infrastructure‑focused projects, including migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring appropriate infrastructure resources are identified, justified, and allocated effectively.
• Proactively manage project risks, maintaining detailed risk registers and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to achieve project objectives and timelines.
• Drive project governance, reporting, and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects as a Technical Project Manager.
• Strong background in migration projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated experience with risk management and maintaining project risk registers.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Highly Regarded:

• Experience with change remediation and change management processes.
• Exposure to Remedy Change Management, ServiceNow, or similar ITSM/change management tools.
